 3 1/2 pots --3 nite soak.    8 keepers .  all sizes all male....mixed hardness , mixed fullness and all had a bland taste....river has been 80% fresh water for 3 weeks......caught 3 fresh water prawns as big as a small lobster

How is the water quality down your way?
Up by New Smyrna there was an algae bloom that killed off most of the turtle grass.
The dead grass robbed the oxygen in the water and now there is a fish kill.
Water is pretty bad up this way and the bite is off.

to a human, it seems messed up and dirty.....but the bait, the dolphins and the pelicans don't seem to mind as much as the people... there was a lot of dead grass floating w/ the tides last month....then we had a lot of rain that went into the rivers and turned them real brown....even before that the fishing was screwy......
