Hey all, just posting inquiring about your results in crabbing after a storm. With Hurricane Sandy at my doorstop, I've been wondering how good the crabbing would be after a hurricane.

I live in New Jersey and would probably go to Perth Amboy (Raritan River mouth) to go crabbing. Was thinking of going on Wednesday after the storm ends.

I've always had good results crabbing after a storm, but not this late in the year.  We'll see, as I hope to get out this weekend.

Defintely good luck.  The runoffs have the State DEP thinking your crabs will be poison, or [dang] near it.

Sandy was a bit more than a storm.  I think there has been a major re-arrangement of spots that occured.

good luck
