I was in Florida for three weeks recovering from shoulder cuff surgery..doctors orders off course!
I was fishing most days and I had a leftover Ladyfish from fishing a couple of days ago to use up so I tried it as cut bait but no action except for some fast runs.
I also brought five topless crab traps baited with chicken and some Ladyfish.
I tried by the north causeway fishing dock by the boat ramps.
Only got one small Blue Crab but I did get my first legal Stone Crab with a 3.5 inch claw!
Tomorrow I'm heading for Riverside Park just north of Dunlawton with the traps and see if I can find anything there.

Riverside Park was a total bummer without a single crab seen or caught!
I went back down to the north causeway bridge fishing dock and tried there too! Nada!
So I drove to 38 Live Bait on the north causeway and bought 10 crabs at $2.75 a pound!
Unfortunately they were light with little meat probably due to the recent full moon and a recent moult.  They tasted good though!
