Anyone know how the marinas held up against the storm last month ? (Red Bank Marina, Oceanic?)
I heard the Navasink was pretty bad.

Great question.  If I have some time later this week I may take a ride there.  Not too far from where I work.

OCeanic Marina originally got creamed but they posted via facebook that they recovered all 75 boats and plan to be back in business come spring:

"Just to update everyone ~ all of our boats are accounted for except one of our livery. We had 10 boats that cruised across the river and lodged themselves along the navesink - got all of them back, but 2......but we are still trying to get them - a few obstacles are in the way. Had 4 boats sink....but We were truly lucky after the initial shock of Sandy - we Will rebuild the docks and be back to business come Spring-thanks for all your well wishes!!!! Oh, the blue hulled Viking was on a private dock - it was not stored at the Oceanic."

I emailed a marina up by great bay looking for a slip this spring. He lost 45 of his 75 slips,  Looks like slips will be hard to come up next year most of the marina got hit really hard,  One of the marina nothing is left all of the docks gone bulkhead gone 4 million dollars of boats gone (can not find)  The issue is there is only 5 months to get these replaced for next season only some many dock builders,  Add all of the private docks and it will be years before the get caught up.  Only time will tell what the storm did to the crabs and fishing

Below AC, not bad, above, about Chestnut Neck and on got hammered...Most are done for the year, with hopes of coming back...I did hear of 1 or 2 that may not??   7bridges road (Gr Bay Blvd)had some damage and I do not think you can drive out it, and there are 3 or 4 marinas on that road.... Sad

Thanks for the updates everyone.
I actually heard the river was over the Front St. bridge next to Red Bank Marina. That bridge is closed along with the Rail road bridge.

Anymore info and pics would be appreciated.

in Belmar which my buddy had his boat dry docked with ramp across the street. All the piers/docks are gone. Rest of the boats are piled up along the fence in the yard. Just FYI.

Below AC, not bad,

There are entire marinas wiped south of AC.   Lots of them.

Being a part of Towboat Us, I am on a facebook page for captains.  The pictures other jurisdictions are post about the storms are crazy.  Alot of damage to the boats (i.e. boats in streets, on piers, etc).  Not a lot of damage to the marinas (from what I can see in pics).

There are at least a half dozen marinas that were south of the landfall here in NJ (including two in my town) that lost all their docks in the storm.
