The 2013 contest is on.      Remember that you must summit a CLEAR picture with a ruler to verify the size of the crab.    Unclear photos will not be accepted.    In case of two crabs being the same size, the crab caught and posted earliest is the winner.

Good luck to all!

I know this one wont be in the money, but I wanted to get the first eight incher of the year posted. He was a hair above eight. Four of the other eleven that I caught were over seven.  For April, I can't complain.

Beautiful crab except the boiled part Grin. My biggest so far is only a little over 6 inches. I'm hoping to change that on Sunday.

First off, I ain't trying to stir anything up, but are already cooked crabs allowed? What I mean is that I, or anyone, could go out and buy some super jumbos and if there is a real mumbo amongst them, just take a photo with a ruler and enter it. Just curious.

I do believe the rules say must be alive.  Nice crabs, both of them

If nothing else, Wag should get "Honorable Mentions" for at least showing everyone that there is at least ONE camera and ONE ruler present in LA.

Selective memory.  The 2012 winner was a Louisiana crab.

I respectfully submit my first entry of the year.  Caught and photographed yesterday, 7-1-2013.  Measured with a true 'MutzyMeasurer'
one pic looks like 8 5/16, other pic looks like 8 3/8.  Its all in the angle of the photo.  It measured 8 5/16
