Good activity today, 2 large keeper males, threw back 4 females over two hours. Left two pots, will report back on those tomorrow. Using chicken necks.

Only 2 crabs in the pots this morning. Caught 3 more keepers over a few hours. Threw back a bunch, as well as a pair that appeared to be mated?

Nice job FL trapper!  I was born and raised in that area and my mom used to take me crabbing right where you described using chicken as well!  We did not have much and that sure provided a nice day on the water.  Now I commercial crab for a living over on the west coast of Florida, I think she put something in my blood.

It really is a great spot. The kids love going over there and pulling crabs out of the water.
