Due to the weekend rain water levels higher than normal here.  Stayed many hours 0 in traps. Not a good day. Sad
Did see some small ones near shore line.

Hope to go back to the area and try my luck.

The rain really drops the water temp. Had the same problem a couple weeks ago after the rain.

Down here in Texas, we had the same front come through earlier. We didn't get very much rain, but the water temperature dropped from 70 degrees to 66 degrees. For the last three weeks, we've had a cold front come through every Thursday.

Our water temperature should be around 73 degrees and holding steady during the first week in May, but this had been a cooler Spring than normal for us.

Thanks for the report but sorry about your catch!
Things should start to pick up now with the warmer temps moving in!
