5/10-12/2013 Ormond Beach, FL - Sanchez Park and Tomoka Park

Okay crabbers,

I spent the weekend at Tomoka park. I dropped 3 traps in the Highbridge area left them over night used cut mullet and chicken necks. water temp at 83 degrees during drop on the 11th. Picked up Sunday before I left the park. Only one male not very big. So I loaded up and drove to Sanchez park  which was not a far drive. Dropped the traps off in various locations. During my fishing up and down the river there I noticed crabs every where in the water! So fishing stopped. The wife and I started trolling the banks scooping the critters 12 males in about an hour. Cooler full I loaded the empty traps and headed home. Mmmm I am enjoying my crab cakes I made tonight.

That's my report for Mothers day weekend.

Nice report. Wish we had crabbing as good. We're not where I'm crabbing. Water temperature just hit 70 degrees where I crab in Texas.
