Not looking for much here fellas but just a tip on a decent pier to take my nephew out on the catch his first crab.

I am a well experienced MD crabber. I have fished the southport pier in town before but it seems to have too high of sides to handline with.

A lil help please.

I'm not that familiar with Southport, but I believe they have a city dock which doesn't have railings. You may want to head down to Oak Island or ask around a tackle shop. Sorry couldn't help more.
