Hey all, long time no see. Finally have some free time, and gonna be tossing some chicken in the water soon. I also need to get back to fishing and am wondering if anyone can give me some information about boat rentals for the Barnegat Bay. Are the places open yet and is the bay clean? I live about 90 minutes away so I can't really check for myself, but am trying to look for information on the web.

Does anyone have any suggestions for boat rentals? We've used Bobbie's in the past, but it seems like the boats continue to get worse as does the customer service. I've seen Van's, and am looking for others.

Hopefully this is an acceptable location for this thread. If not, I apologize.

Edit: Really Anywhere will do though if it's closer than LBI. I've been on the Duke O' Fluke in Somers Point and have been on boats in Fortescue, but prefer to rent a skiff.  Also, any places by land, and any advice on how to catch fluke from the surf? I honestly don't even care if I catch small ones, but I've never caught one from land and would like to. Much appreciated!

I dunno - but the fish question you may want to post on this forum here - http://www.bluecrab.info/forum/index.php/board,25.0.html, would probably get more looks from everyone (not just NJ peeps).

You can rent a skiff from Dolfin Dock in Somers Point.

Thanks guys. If I recall, DD has higher prices than the places I've compared them to. Anyone ever go to the Dock Outfitters?
