Today I had to throw 3 legal crabs back as I was over the 50 daily limit for a rec. That was with only 4 pots as I have not replaced the last stolen pot yet. Spoke with 2 other recs and a marina dockmaster and all are reporting large catches of large crabs over the past 3 - 4 weeks.
Necks are hard to find here. The last 3 boxes ordered did not arrive as scheduled. A butcher said recently the Chinese want the necks and feet shipped with the birds while in the past they did not. True??? I've had to buy leg quarters at $0.79 a pound for my pots!
