We have been getting crabs here for a few years and never disappointed. It's located right next to the bay bridge airport north side of the runway.  He never serves light or junk crabs and steams to order. We went Sunday 8/11/13 and owner told us he only had one dozen left.  Wow that's not good but somehow he found a couple more. They alway throw a couple extra crabs in your order and we have never had a complaint. It's not fancy not on the water but there are tables outside and the food and crabs are the most consistent we have found anywhere.  I hate paying top dollar for reheated crabs at other places close by.

I was in the area last weekend and stopped by. I wondered what the prices were. $39 for a dozen of mediums (2 doz for $59). Bigger crabs were more expensive, obviously. I know how the crabbing has been this year, so I can understand the prices. The ladies were boxing up an order of mixed crabs...they looked great. I had a crabcake sandwich. Fresh, hardly any filler...but it was a bit too bland for my liking.

I bought some of their seasoning the other week. Not bad at all, but it was the first time I was ever charged sales tax for crab seasoning. Angry

This place is as good as it gets for honesty and quality. They have good availability of local and Southern sourced live crabs. If you ask, they will tell you exactly where and when the crabs in their walk in come from.

They also always give an extra crab or two in your bag to go. That is impressive considering crabs are 3-6 dollars a piece.

I have never had a bad experience with these folks and I don't know anyone that works there nor do they know me.

Don't go there looking for a bargain, quality is their focus and quality is not cheap.

Do go there for honest folks and quality product.

Cheers,

LC
