haha BJ yeah I reckon they could. I hope you guys have a good season like we've had. Another thing I'd like to say if any of you guys are down under there's plenty of room to roll a swag out at my place and it's straight across the road from our prime crabbing spot

OK I had to Goggle it  FYI
In Australian and New Zealand, the term "swag" (or "kiwi", as it's less commonly known) is still widely used to refer to a tent or other portable shelter used for camping or outdoor sleeping.

I would love to go   Its the airplane ride that keeping home 20 hours in the air no thanks   Lukey do you guys need crabbing licenses?

Hey Skiff we only need a license if crabbing from a boat and the bag limit is 20 but no license needed if scooping and it's 10 crabs per person that's why I like scooping I take my wife and 2 kids 40 crabs

I took a few minutes to read some Australian crabbing regs. It says that diving for crabs is permitted. Can't do that here.

Egg-bearing crabs are called 'berried' crabs.  Cheesy

Yeah that's right I think a few people dive for them in the swan river,Perth but a few too many bull sharks in there for this crabber to go diving for them

Your tape must be broken because crabs don't get that big.   Wink

Here's a Choptank River 9 incher from last year.  This one had the biggest claw spread I think I ever saw.   Hold your thumbs 18" apart to get the "feel" of this crabs size.
