I am having trouble finding a concreat answer on this.  If I want to construct a crab trap with a single door, but let the top open, do I have to have a permit to use it?  I will be using it on the Southcoast of MA.  Thanks all!

You have asked in several places...you seem determined to do it so go ahead, unless you want to take a minute and read the replies to your earlier posts.  By the way......doesn't it say on the milk crates something about unlawful use if the crate is not owned by you.  Either you got to own the Dairy or you have to have a bill of sale from the previous owner.

Stick with the tried and true gear and you won't have problems.

Good luck
