Anyone ever crab from the piers at this campground? We will be there in a few weeks and was wondering if it is worth taking the gear, just to catch a few with the kids. Thanks for any input!

It's not the size of the fight in the crab. Its the size of the crab in the trap !!!

Hey Jack is that the same campground that the poachers that cleaned your traps out were staying at?  Roll Eyes Grin

Our family has been going to Cherrystone for about 30 years ..  Crabbing from the dock at high tide is ok .. At low tide we would walk out and net crabs .. I wouls say bring your gear ... You should do ok ....
