Just wanted to start off by saying, it was great seeing everyone yesterday. It was another great annual BCA, Wye river party. Thanks to flounderpounder for the awesome homemade crab spice, and to crabshack for the "pickle boy" yodeling pickle laugh laugh. Thanks to all the guys and girls that put this year's event together.

Now to today's catch.. Decided to hit BCC once again, due to high winds forcasted. Got kind of a late start, due to someone forgetting to put the roller into the boat Huh laugh. Got a mile from the ramp and had to turn back. Ended up dropping 600 foot of chicken rope along with 12 traps around 7:30. Worked 8 to 10 foot of water. First 2 runs produced 26 keepers. From there it slowed to 5 to 8 per run. Only 3 or 4 sooks all day. Crabs weren't huge but quality was great. Only threw back about 20 papershells. Most crabs were around 6 to 6.5 inches. Biggest of the day was a 7 inch doubler. Ended up finishing up around 10:30 with all we needed (little over a half bushel). Water temp was down to 72 in the bay and 74 in the cove. Weather was awesome! Enjoy the pictures.

CW, nice crabs bro.

Back before the media craze, used to catch some some nice ones around WH Creek.

I'm not sure what you are calling BCC, and don't want to know.

I would however, like to know what is in these sweet pickles everyone is ravin about??

BCC is just a little cove off the western shore of the bay. Pretty much just a no named cove. I make these home made bread and butter pickles from my garden.  Some people (crabshack) call me pickle boy, because I spend my days off work canning pickles and fighting old ladies at Walmart over canning jars. They know not to mess with me laugh
