 Jeff, time for a winder??? makes movin line a breeze, i can pull 3000 ft in about 10 min. I paid 1100.00 for a used puller about 8 years ago, well worth the $$$, i stare at it sometimes in wonder.  Did yoy get any sooks at the wye of the west? Last sat. i got 4 doz. good males ,size was down alittle and 2 doz. sooks, it may be slow but the crabs are good.I think i'm done for the year ,time to hunt.

Had 59 jimmies and 3 sooks. Only about 4 crabs were under 6".

Yea chris.. 100 cans. Beleive it or not i dont care. You should hope im not Wink

Anything as far as trolling in that area yet? I'm thinking its still too warm?

Crabster,
I been catching limits every time out. They are there for sure.

Some days I go over a bait ball and all my lines go down, limit in minutes. Others it takes a while, picking at them.

Should heat up this week with the rain and cool weather. I'd get out there.

Trolling tandem 3oz parachutes and 17-19 Tonys.

Last week, the morning out goin tide had been real weak. Evenings were better for me on the swift incoming.

The bay bridge pilings are holding good fish... pier 51 and the rockpiles... blues are in there also.

Females slowed down rdbeard. They have either moved out or are off the bite from the recent hot weather.
