Crab'n is a way of life....

WWW
« on: October 13, 2013, 05:30:55 PM »

First gun show of the year...   Cheesy  Been searching for a CZ-527 Carbine in 7.62x39 to back up my SKS since the first gun buying shortage.  There were none to be had.  Today I asked the CZ Dealer if any were becoming available.  He told me they got 12 in a couple weeks ago.  He had 1 left. And he had it at the show! Shocked  I expected to get gouged but he sold it to me at list price! thumbsup

Ruger LCP's have been hard to come by.  None have been in our local gun shop since the buying panic started.  I was pleased to see most dealers at the show had some.  However they were all asking way to much for them, 320 to 340 range.  Before the panic you could get 1 for about 275.  Found this one at the show for 299. smug  I know the LCP kicks like a mule but it is the greatest thing for CC in beachwear.  laugh

LCP's are .380.............

Interesting thing is Ruger doesn't supply a written warranty...    Huh  I'll have to check the Blackhawk...  Didn't read the paper work that came with that.  Not sure when Ruger stop sending warranty cards....  Cool

Was told rugers actions dont stay open after the last round. I opted for another brand. Is that true?

nice firearms, jack.

Not a big fan of ruger firearms.

Not impressed with semi auto handguns performances, and the rifles I heard, were very unaccurate....mainly the mini's.

I love that CZ, though!

True. At least the LCP.  It's the only Ruger auto I own...  The SW Bodyguard is/was close to a 100 bucks more then the LCP.  Plus it weights more and is bigger.  Super CC was what I was shopping for in this gun. And a BUG....

For years the BUG has been a .357 derringer.  It's been a great gun but it's heavy.  About a half pound more then then the LCP.   Cool

Can only comment on the LCP.....  50 round thru it today without a "glitch".  Grin  My other Rugers are all wheel guns.... Cept the 20 O/U Red Label.  Cool

It came with a warning in the box.... "Do not shoot more then 5 times or serious damage may happen to your hand, wrist, elbow or shoulder."  laugh  I'm the only person that has shot it more then twice.  Grin
