My brother just texted me he just killed a 6 pt 140 lb nice buck in QA county ..... so he started off well this year.. I am stuck at work.. might crab tomorrow, and possibly next week but I think this coming cold snap may finish crabbing by next friday 10/25 so may go black poweder deer instead.. Just wondering if anyone else had any luck so far..... sent me a picture to my cell phone not gotta figure out how to get it posted on here lol

Get in the woods!!!!!
You guys are lucky to be able to break out the firearms so early.
I'm not hunting at all this week due to Oktoberfest prep. Look out starting next week though!

glad to see you got your priorities in order Scott....  beer over deer!!!   laugh laugh

yeah I know what you mean with early BP, but let's face it, bow season takes a lot of deer too and can affect the rut ....

believe me when it comes rut time the big boys will still be coming out once they wind a hot doe......  besides night time is more romantic  laugh laugh
