We've started moving gear farther south in the inner coastal with mixed results. Crabs have been mostly large and jumbo but haven't found the quantity we need yet. Females have started dumping after this past full moon and they are large. Personally I prefer the females for the "cheese" but thankfully more males in the crates. Had one stand out today and wanted to share. Have a safe weekend.

David, Thanks for the photo! That is a very nice crab! The weight is a nice touch too! The biggest crab I have seen was a 9.25 inch female in CT. Down in my area of Florida a seven inch crab is a good one! Farther south of me, the Banana River, is supposed to have big crabs but I haven't been down there yet.

The ones we sell are alive and kicking! On the other hand we're not against throwing down once in a while...
