A buddy of mine is headed down to Solomon's this weekend with his kids to do some fishing and asked me where he could get Peeler Crab.  I figured I'd reach out to the members here and see if anyone had suggestions?

(I think he called Bunker's and they said that it was too early in the season or that they were out)

Thanks!

Maybe Tyler's in Chesapeake Beach.  My first thought was Bunky's but it sounds like he doesn't have any.

What day does he need them? I'm in shady side. Also according to the charter boats Solomon's has slowed down and Chesapeake beach area has picked up fishing wise

I been using soft crabs for the last 10 year cause I'm to lazy to mess with peelers.. Grin Nice bunch of rock... I'll take that size on light tackle over the bigg'ins anyday... Cool

How do you fish with Soft crab with out the bait falling off the hook?
Ive always used peeler crab myself and kept part of the back fin knuckle on to secure the hook into while the rest of the crab was peeled away leaving the soft stuff

Nice cooler of fish indeed!

Use fresh. Dosent really need to stay on long. Its like fish crack. Usually if its on more then 30 seconds you need to find a better spot to fish. Lol
