Just wanted to say that I make and sell new crab traps. I personally use them for green crabs. I don't know if they will work for other crabs. Does anyone here have any thoughts as to whether they would work for other crabs or not? These traps have worked well for me Green Crabbing. Here is more information:

The traps are 36" (3') long and about 18" in diameter.

The trap is shaped round like a cylinder. The crabs enter through either of the two funnels on either end.

The end funnel can be removed for easy emptying.

Other information:
-Has oak runners and 12 lbs. cement bricks.
-Is made with 16 gauge 1"x1/2" wire.
-Has a strip on top to hang a bait bag.
-I can modify trap to meet green crab trap laws and regulations in other states, but this trap meets all Maine regulations.

$65.00

See Craigslist link below for more pictures and contact information:
I am waiting for craigslist to make my post viewable, but I will post link once I see it

I wasn't sure which category to put this in because it doesn't quite fall in the for sale category, I didn't think, because that is for non commercial crabbing stuff. Plus, I had that bolder question about if they would work for other crabs.

Only "Supporting Members" can sell items on the BCA forum and then only by placing the item/s in the for sale section.   Cool
