How much damage did Huricane Sandy do to crabbing in the upper chesapeake and how long will the effect of the storm last?  It took 10+ years for the bay to recover from Agnes back in the 70's and some say it's never been the same since Agnes.  Are upper bay crabbermen doomed for the next decade?  Just wondering.

Yes. Crabbings been horrible ever since. Used to be my go to spot. Been south ever since.

I think more damage was done by the 1-2 punch of Hurricane Irene and T.S. Lee in back to back weeks in the fall of 2011.
