I was in KDH last week, and some of the regular dealers around were saying they either could not get any crabs (Austin's) or the prices were much higher ($155 bushel, Billy's), even before they were in stock (crab futures?)

Then, the sign at Frog Island on Sat. 7/5, $75/bushel live or steamed? I believe those are usually mixed, but not 100% sure about that.

Weird compared to past 5 years or so and just wanted to see what others were seeing.

I also was curious whether Arthur helped or hurt crabs, especially on Albemarle Sound.

Peace out !!!

Have you checked the prices of Bait and fuel?  Not to even mention the cost of crabpots..Boats and motors......Commercal guys can't work cheap anymore......I sell live #1's for $110 a bushel.............The Hurricane didn't help crabbing........We've had a pretty good year so far..

Looks like the difference between 1s and 2s.

Like Gene said , the storm hasn't helped anything.
