As a recreational crabber all my life an a successful crab dealer, I ve dealt with them all. my company bought crabs from most commercial crabbers in Va. De. Md. an Jersey. I ve heard all the stories. Its time for all of us who want crabs for our children to enjoy to demand an end to the taking of all female crabs an a permanent ban on dredging. make some noise, call your state reps. lets ban together an burn up the phone lines before its too late. I personally witnessed a young commercial De. crabber crying at the dock at Collins beach, de. After checking 325 traps every other day he had only 2bu males a1 bu females. I ask him what was wrong an his words were, "there not going to be any crabs here next year.  that day was June 26, 2014.

It's time to BAN ALL FEMALE CRABBERSnow!

Females should stay in the kitchen where they belong. They should not be on the water taking away crabs from comms or hobbyists.

Crabber 1 I couldn't agree more. If we don't guard the resource now it will be too late. Greedy people and smart talkers have been dictating the conversation for too long.

I got plenty of crabs now checked my pots and came in with crabs and can't find no one to sell to now. Have had to dump crabs back recently due to no buyer. No body looking to buy in my area called all over this evening. Crabs are not my problem A buyer is my problem!
