Does anyone know or has had experience catching bluecrab from the little park next to Spikes on the Point side of the bridge? Or knows if you are allowed to crab from there. I heard from some guy you could and i'm near there a lot, just wondering if there are blues around or since it's close to the ocean only green crabs/spider crabs? When i went to check it out, i saw 1 green crab and 1 spider crab chilling.

Thanks,
Mo

Happy Crabbing!!

Since you're so close, take a ride into bay head. Crabbing has been pretty good. Try near the Fire house on Bridge ave or down at the BH Yacht club off of Bridge ave, follow the signs for the library, you'll see water at the end of the street. I've been catching some nice size crabs 6" range. Good Luck & Happy Crabbing

Thanks!! Went by there the other day to give it a test run, saw a few crabs but no bites. Will have to try the riverfront park where the old point hospital used to be and a couple spots Lary suggested.

Thanks again!!
