don't wana rain on your parade but there just not here, especially from land. go fishing instead. if you are determaned to crab, anywhere along the bay where you can get access. i spent 5 hours yesterday in a boat looking for them and came away with only a couple doz. and i got them all the way back by the parkway. there just not this close to the ocean. sorry, i know thats not what you wana hear but it's the way it is. too much salt in the water.

 I see people crabbing in the marsh just south of the crest, before you get to the toll bridge near 2 mile landing, but like 54Bobby said if you're crabbing by land you would probly be better by the creeks coming into the island, good luck  let us know how you made out

I also have seen people crabbing near 2 mile landing not far from the toll bridge near the restaurants. I have seen people catcha few crabs there but not big numbers.
