It's definately a much needed organization . What better place for it to be then right here ? I'm sure it's going to end up being a very large organization and it will need a lot of dedication . It's exciting just thinking about it .

Could be huge.  But I do like the idea of Greg heading up at least a MD chapter.  He's says he's too busy... maybe he needs some persuasion....

Try getting out of Jury duty saying your to busy..     The JUDGE will tell you that busy people are the most qualified people.     I make a motion that Greg represents the MD Chapter till an election of officers can take place......      Wink Wink Wink

It only takes one person   (can be a different person at each meeting)   to represent hundreds or thousands then...

I like the idea "CBRCA" with local chapters.

I've asked Tom Powers to pop over here and give his take on our proposal. He's very active here in Virginia.

Delaware Recreational Crabbers Association sounds great for the first state.  Awesome idea!!!!!   Regional chapter should be named Mid Atlantic Recreational Crabbers Association MARCA.  I can hear it! MARCA. MARCA. MARCA. on Washington. Wink

If you are a member i will apologize, but that is their belife to keep everything for theirselves and allow no one else includind the non fishing public access to the resorce.  But you do what you want and bring them on board but bookmark this post so you can come back in 2 or 3 yrs and look at it because i'm telling you right now that you will put a end to the Rec crabbing up there as you know it today. The C.C.A.s track record and history is very clear...........Just so we are VERY clear on this, i'm not going to get into a shouting match over the internet, i don't hide behind my computer, Md is just right up the road and i have no problems doing my talking face to face
