They should have been in NC! Hardly any LE on the water. The ONLY coastal state without a JEA with the feds. Most of the regs are written with commercials in mind and some regs if not encouraging illegal activity at least accept it. Should one be caught, unlikely but possible, the fine will be so small it is hardly a cost of doing business. Jail ~~~~ Grin

Hardly ever see them?  [dang] I see them a couple time a week on the water, a couple times a week at the fish house, and on the road about everyday. They can't be everywhere all the time.

Maybe more fishermen up there is the reason??? All during 2014 I saw NC LE on the ICW twice, none on the ocean. Not much problem here except a few recs and a few gill netters but they seemed better last year than in the past. SC LE is more active on the water including the ocean. I'm told they are often found at the ramps too but my boat is dry stacked indoors so I don't run into them. I think their presence more often would be great.

Wow keep it clean because a few bad apples can put the squeeze down on all of us and make life real hard to do a honest business.
