I do not think you will find anyone selling crabs by the bushel in the Houston area. Everyone sells them by the lb. I am not sure what part of town you live in. If you live on the south side Seabrook is the place to go. Across the channel from Kemah 11th Ave has 10 or more seafood markets. My favorite is T and H. Just call ahead and reserve some. Most of the supermarkets in the Oriental district in southwest Houston have live crabs at a good price. You get to pick your crabs so if you do the squeeze test you can get a bushel of number ones at a very good price.
