Contact Jason Frost at 609-927-9088 Ext 136. The Somers Point ramp is much better than that cruddy ramp over in Linwood.

That's not a ramp, it's a dirt road with a wet Dead End.

Wow, they're on the ball this year. Are they sending applications out to previous pass holders or do you need to call for it? True about the Linwood ramp but, it served me well with my slow boat. I'll be using the two excellent ramps in Somers point a lot more this year.

Yes. They send out letters to previous pass holders.

Kennedy Park offers a Great ramp and has real bathrooms which makes my girls happy. My pass application and check is on its way. I tried the "new" free ramp at the base of the bridge and experienced the only time in 15 years of towing the same boat and trailer, the truck sliding back as I winched the boat onto the trailer. Believe me, it was not a good feeling. The algae was a little thick on the one side. Needless to say, I haven't been back since and have used Kennedy Park when in Somers Point. It's great not having to go over the bridge into OC with the boat in tow.

That particular creek has a temporary crabbing prohibition on it due to a sewage leak.

Is that an unlimited usage permit? Or a pay per use permit?
Cheap if unlimited... The Rivers and Bays in north NJ are at least $100 per year unlimited launches. The Atlantic Highlands Muni Marina ramp unlimited launches is $1250 per year. Oye!

The pass is for unlimited use. It is definitely a good deal for use of two really great ramps.
I paid $150 for my Delaware river ramp pass and $25 for the key card to the gate so I can have 24 hour access.
The season launch pass at Atlantic Highlands is $420. The $1,250 pass includes summer land storage along with the ramp. Either way, both are too pricey in my opinion. Summers Point is a much better spot and the SP Harbor Master is a lot better also.
