Answer to indoe on shed hunting

I do well late feb.,march.It's great if you have snow.When my 3 boys were small we went every.It' s also a great scouting tool.With snow you can follow trails to feeding and bedding areas.Good for next winter hunting season.We would also find dead deer from hunting season.Biggest one I ever found was a9 point 163" .I called everyone I knew that hunted that area nobody saw that buck.I'll send pictures when I round them up.

I did really well this year. Found a few on my private property and a few around my house. Here are a few that I found.

These are the biggest that I found. One was about 60 yards from my stand. The other pic you can see the points of the antler of one from the year before.

Nice.Can't wait sept. 1st archery here.Sussex county surf and turf gríled backstrap and steamed crabs.I hope you get a shot at the buck near your stand should be a dandy this year.

I love Sept and October. The best crabbing and hunting season starts. I have made a back strap filled with cream cheese and peppers wrapped in bacon 2 times and it is so good. Im going to make that again with the first deer I shoot. Make some deer chilly and steam up a bushel of crabs. Then do some fishing. There just isnt enough time during those months.

That backstrap sounds good.I think I smell it.I'm almost out of snacksticks.Gonn'a have to test smoker and order more casings.Like you said never enough time.Good luck to all this season.BE SAFE!
