Went out yesterday evening on the Pax river.  We got in the water by 4:00 with 30 traps.  We crabbed until 6:30 and got just under a bushel of large heavy jimmies.  Only caught 2 immature females (who are still swimming this am) Most were 6 1/2 - 7" with a few 6"ers.  Most were caught by 5:30 as the tide was moving.  We didn't catch a whole lot after 5:30 (high tide was at 7:03 so the tide was slowing down)  Will be back out this weekend before the cold sends them hiding.  Nothing like eating crab cakes all winter to hold you over til spring.
