Red Bank Nj wants to dump the snow from its roads and Parking lots into The Navesink and Shrewsbury Rivers, But The EPA says NO  Huh  It will pollute the river,
So it will pile up on the banks and streets and Parking lots Melting and then running into the Rivers WTF are they thinking,

The problem is that the plows pile up trash along with the snow.  Most of this trash doesn't make it past the screens in the sewers that lead to the rivers.  If you dump the snow, you're depositing that trash into the water.

Dumping has been permitted in emergency situations (like in 2001) in the Northeast, but it should not be the primary choice just for the sake of convenience.  JMO.

 Sounds Logical you mean like this trash coming out of the Out fall into the ocean.
