I have never been crabbing. Living in north east Texas we don't have to many occasions to even see a crab!!! My family will be in the Cameron, La area in mid May and we would like to try crabbing. Can anyone tell me a good place to go crabbing in that area?  We do not want to have to buy the license to go on the WMA areas.

No replies. Does that mean the Cameron area is not a good place to catch crab?

No . I think no one has responded because we do not have many members from around there. I am sure there are plenty crabs to be caught around Cameron unfortunately I can not tell you where. Check with the locals when you get there.

Good Luck
