7 weeks into the season with a month of straight rain and northerly winds and you guys are crying a bad year already

That article should make you worry.  When have they been right?  Now with expectations high on every outing you are expecting to "bushel out" on every trip. If you don't bushel out you will feel disappointed and depressed leading to high alcohol consumption and a feeling you were cheated by Mother Nature.  Don't mess with Mother Nature or your next outing will be filled with high winds and t-storms which will lead to a lower than expected harvest which will lead to higher alcohol consumption.  Now the good thing is you have forgot why you were drinking in the first place and plan for a crabbing trip the next weekend.  And so on and so on.

Its OK if you're not the first guy to catch a crab this year.  For God's sake, the water is barely 60 degrees.  relax, the crabs will come.

I wasn't crying.  Just stating a fact....so far this year I haven't seen the increased population.  I make my conclusions at the end of each year.
