Hello Everyone,
I am originally from N.J. and would crab in the Summer months. I am now in Wesley Chapel Fl. and would like to take my family to catch some Blue Claws. Does anybody have any recommendations for some places? I have recently tried Anclotte and Green Key Beach but did't see any. I am also wondering if there is a season where there are more prevalent?
Thanks,
Tim

Try along Bayou Drive out by Bayport Park and Pine Island.  My wife and I have been going there for the past 9 months and usually catch more than enough for a meal just using hand lines. (35 this past Saturday in 5 hours)

Here's a link to it on Google maps:  https://www.google.com/maps/@28.5552709,-82.6427069,18z

We're out there most Saturday mornings.  So if anyone sees a blue Silverado parked on the side of the road please stop and say hello.  Wink
