My wife and I picked up a bushel of live #1 Jimmies from Gene (Genecrabman)on our way to Hatteras and they were great!

He was waiting for us when we arrived, very impressed!

We enjoyed a few dozen and picked the rest for stuffing all the flounder and grouper we could eat!

Thanks again Gene 2thumbsup

That's for #2 white bellies...  Jimmies run from anywhere around $100 to 175 a bushel.... I sell them for $110 right now....They're caught that morning no junk left over from the cooler...

Gene I'm just wondering.  How many pots are you running and what's your average catch.  Just curious to compare to my rig here in Virginia.  Thanks and be safe.

Wow.  Thanks for the report.  28 is an amazing day for what I'm use to.

Hi Gene!
I've been reading all of the posts and see that you have quite an impressive reputation!!
We are coming down on the 6th and staying in Waves.  We like to do some recreational crabbing and wondered if you could recommend a spot for us.  We have some kiddos coming too so we were looking for somewhere they can swim too while we crab.  We always used to hang out at the South Pointe but have been told we can't get out there anymore.  We do have 4WD vehicles so if you have suggestions, I'd greatly appreciate it!

THANK YOU!
