Got a late start and didn't get the trotline in the water until around 0915.  It did help either that I got the biggest snarl ever in my line and it took a little over an hour to get it untangled.  Anyway, started on a slack tide and crabbed the first two hours of outgoing.  Pretty slow but still managed about 30 over 5.75 inches and 1 crab that was over 8".  All were good heavy crabs.  Only had 2 or 3 shorts and 5 females that all went back in the river.  Chicken necks in 8.5 feet with a mud bottom.
