Hi folks we are new to the Pensacola area and this forum.
Live along Big Lagoon close to the park.
My better half loves to catch blue crabs with a chicken thigh on a string
and a dip net, but that was in the muddy water in Louisiana.
I don't think that is going to work here with the clarity being so different.
I took a spotlight to our neighborhood pier last night, saw several medium
crabs and one big stone crab scurrying about. Haven't see a single one
there in the day time. Maybe hoop nets on the pier at night?
Thinking some hoop nets but any advice on when and where appreciated!
Thanks
