My son and I hit the York along the parkway this afternoon. It was his first crabbing experience. We used hand lines with turkey necks from 2pm until 5 pm, during the final couple of hours of the outgoing tide (although, except for the current, you wouldn't know with the tidal surge and runoff from Hermine). Water temps felt pretty low. We pulled up about 15-20, mostly sooks, and all under legal size. All in all a great father-son outing. My son wants to do it again, so I'm happy for that.
