Window of opportunity came at daylight Friday Sept 29th and I was able to set out 14 pots before a 6 hour thunderstorm and downpour marathon came rolling in. Water looked like tea due to the recent rain fall so expectations weren't too high. All pots were set in 3-5 feet of water again and were checked 4 times between Friday evening ( Sept 29th ) and yesterday morning ( Oct 2nd ). Had 226 crabs in the pots with a very surprising 111 keepers. Had several blowfish in the pots as well so I guess they are beginning to show up. Hoping to get a couple more trips in before I call it a season.

I am inland from where Mathew did most of its damage. I lost power for a day but that is nothing to the flooding taking place all over our state. My heart and prayers go out to ALL that have been affected by this devastation.
