BJFish and I ran our line on Sunday in our usual spot.  We launched the boat about 9am and got both of our lines laid out. Our first run was at 9:30am.  The weather was great, but the crabs were a little slow.  We had a little difficulty seeing the crabs until the were very near the prop stick.  The water was cloudy and so was the sky.  Both BJFish and I scooped more than one crab on the back side of the prop stick.  Luckily, they hung on for the trip over the stick.  We also missed a couple.

The crabs died out by noon, so we pulled the lines and headed to the house. In the end, we came out with about a half a bushel of nice size crabs.  We also grabbed a sack of $1.27 a pound field run crawfish.  I allowed my crawfish to swim in some nice boiling water with my share of the crabs, some corn, and some potatoes.

Nice report. Good looking half bushel of crabs. Ditto for the boiled crabs and crawfish.

Thanks for sharing your report and photos.
