Went out late afternoon to try some perch fishing. Perch are still on vacation    ( no bites )   Brought 12 topless traps. Water is warming up 61.  Crabs a plenty but small. Here is my catch for being out 2 hours

Tried for a fish fry but ended up with some crab cakes.......sounds good to me.

I think perch are a delicious fish to eat, but steamed crabs or crab cakes top perch easily, LOL.  You came away with better eating in my opinion. Thanks for the report and pictures.

I went out Dividing Creek on Tuesday from 11 am to 3 pm.  Outgoing tide.  Not a single perch.  One small schoolie striper.   Huh
