So I'm trying to get a clear answer, I bout the crabbing license for my boat to cover everyone in it, now, since we will only be crabbing, do my guests still need to get the angler registration # or is that only for fishing? Just don't want to find out they need it and don't have it when I get checked on the water

Not being rude by any means but MD, that's why I asked in the MD regs section 😂

I have the sticker but do my guests need to get the free number?

The angler registration number is a federal number to track/count recreational fishermen.

You do not need it for crabbing. YET

And remember, with just a boat crabbing decal, you can still only keep 1 bushel regardless of how many are on board.

I'm good with everything else, there was just no clarity on guests aboard a boat with the crab sticker
