Took snorkeling equipment to pipeline, just above Mayo bridge to see if they are HERE. 3-4 ft. sure enought found a few dead or dying small ones, then found a few legal live males. 1 had a hold of a fish head, the other was eating a dead crab in 1 ft of h2o. If I had a small hand net think I could have got a few? But it was fun/interesting in hovering above watching them work, at 1st they stayed under rocks while I watched them, then after about 5 mins they relaxed and did there thing. On way back to shore saw a biggin tried to chase but rapids strong could not keep up. I am sure they where males (dead ones where), but I noticed there claws looked more redish then blue, wonder if fresh water had something to do with this? Area is FRESHWATER???  Ended up buying some crabs from Stuarts Seafood on Mech Tpke, they get there crabs from NC.

females typically have orange tip claws but typically prefer salty water.
you can really tell the difference by looking on their bottomside.
