I took 6 crabs and cleaned them before cooking.. doused them in a butter/garlic/old bay mixture and put them cavity up on a foil covered grill. 10 minutes later I turned them over and slobbered on some more mixture. 10 more minutes and I flipped them and filled the cavities again.. 3 mins and they were done. They were awesome! Your fingers get a bit buttery, and the shells are a little brittle from the dry heat, but definitely will be doing that again!

I have done some grilled crabs similar to what you did and I highly enjoy them. Love the buttery, garlic flavor. Good stuff.
