I keep reading about a rope called loktite and was wondering what it is and where it can be purchased. Is there an equivalent that can be purchased at Home Depot, Ace Hardare, or Lowes? If so, what type and size should I look for? I'll be using the rope for my crab rings.

Look for a rope supplier in your area. Lowe's Home Depot, etc. are extremely high. Hope this helps.

So, is the rope just a braided nylon and Loktite is the brand?

Just found a spool of 1000' for 35.00 ($10 extra for shipping). Seems like a great price at 4 cents a foot.

Kevin is top notch.  He was the original topless traps many many years ago.

Good to hear Kevin.

I still have about 20 of your topless traps that get used early spring and late fall.  I tried a few others and they just didn't last.
