Hi all - I usually crab in DE but wanted to come down to the Chester River for crabs and striper fishing. I've been trying to figure out where to launch an 18' whaler from. I would love any recommendations. I'm also not sure about the boat ramp certificate. Can I pay on arrival at the ramp or do I need to buy one ahead of time.

Thanks!

Hope this helps.  Not familiar with the eastern shore protocol for boat ramps.

Looks like you go to one of the vendors for pass.

You need to get a county pass prior to launching.  Or use a private marina and pay to launch daily.  Wish you could buy pass online and print it out for a daily launch.  Would really be nice.

Thanks all! I'll probably use Rolph's.

I wish I could buy one online and I'm going to early to buy one a vendor sells.
