Wow, either the crabbing sucks everywhere in VA this year or people are having such success they are out every day with no time to report. I'm in the former group that has seen very few keepers.  How is everyone else doing?

Not been very good for me .I'm crabbing around Colonial Beach and I'm putting together two 300ft trotlines and will be getting out there. Sidelined I will say, lately with house repairs, truck repairs, and I went to Va Beach a few days in late August. Now that its cooler and time to get crabbing! And Yes the Hurricanes have been hitting the USA and Tomorrow IRMA will hit Florida. God Bless to all of them down there, hope it will not end with a lot of peoples lives lost.  Posted Friday Sept 9th 2017.

TODD:

 I am sorry to hear that the crabbing down there is not producing crabs. It seems that this is a off year everywhere, the numbers just are not there, maybe next year will be better. This is not the first time that I have seen this happen and it will not be the last time either. Keep me posted when you do catch some crabs.

I haven't been out since June but was thinking of giving it a go tomorrow on the lower Potomac.  From the reports I'm reading maybe I should go fishing instead.  If I go, I'll post up the results.
